Padel Comes to Panvel: Godrej Properties Launches On Court
Godrej City, Panvel's 145-acre mixed-use township, now features Panvel's largest dedicated padel facility, developed through a partnership with PadelPark India. The facility, called On Court, comprises four international-standard indoor padel courts, with terracotta-finish turf surfaces designed for both competitive play and everyday use.
The facility launched on August 29, 2026, hosting over 100 guests from business, entertainment, and sports sectors. The opening brought together global padel stars Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, the World No. 1 and No. 2 ranked players.
Padel's Growing Role in India's Sports Ecosystem
Padel is one of the world's fastest-growing sports, with its recent addition as a medal event at the Asian Games accelerating demand for accessible, international-standard facilities in India. On Court caters to both competitive players and newcomers discovering the sport for the first time.
Sky Villas Launch Alongside Sports Infrastructure
Alongside the padel facility, Godrej City Panvel announced an exclusive new phase with 3 and 4 bed Sky Villas, set beside serene hills and in close proximity to the 9-hole international standard golf course and padel courts. Each residence opens onto an expansive deck, with a host of wellness-themed amenities across the phase.
The township's growing sporting and lifestyle ecosystem includes a 9-hole golf course, bringing golf and padel together at the same address, and reinforcing Godrej City, Panvel's positioning as a lifestyle-led mixed-use development.
